It was one of the most satisfying moments of the Inauguration, President Obama, and Vice President Biden stood on the Capitol steps and waved goodbye to the last 8 years. When I watched it live on CNN, there was a noticeable salute from VP Biden, just before the unanimous wave from the group, that seemed to say “Good Riddance, Don’t let the Helicopter door hit you on the way out”. Oh, To be a fly on the wall and hear the words spoken at this moment..

There is no doubt that Democrats, liberals, political analysts (and a whole crap load of Republicans) everywhere will miss the antics of the Bush Administration. Especially late night comedy writers who will now have to start working for a living as the days of gut busting, open source material draw to a close.
Boy George Gets 15 Months For Chaining Up a Male Escort

George O’Dowd, known to 80’s music enthusiasts and VH1 fanatics as Boy George was sentenced to 15 months in jail on Friday after being convicted of imprisoning a male escort by handcuffing him to a wall in a London apartment.
“Boy” had been convicted in December of handcuffing Norwegian escort Audun Carlsen to a wall hook at his East London apartment. During the trial, prosecutors said Carlsen was held by George for under an hour.
The singer denied the charge, saying he had restrained Carlsen with handcuffs while trying to figure out if a computer had been tampered with. Carlsen, 29, said O’Dowd swung at him with a metal chain as he ran from the apartment after a naked photo shoot.

I really thought that I would be done bashing Sarah Palin after the landslide loss her and Presidential Candidate John Mccain suffered during the 2008 Election. I would have been happy to let her slowly fade into obscurity, while fighting to retain any left over respect from the residents of Alaska for her re-election as Governor.
This was the plan, and I stood ready to execute it, if it hadn’t been for a few things that were out of my control.

Like her politics or not, few can argue that former VP candidate, and current Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin is a political hottie. A fact reinforced in our minds by the hilarious portrayals by the even hotter Tina Fey, on Saturday Night Live this past election season.
Unfortunately, until Palin’s conservative attitude gets as lose as her daughters, we will have to wait for the Playboy centerfold, or Maxim magazine spread, although I suspect Bristol may be a mere 20 pounds and a year or so away from a tasteful layout.

You really can’t make this stuff up.
Not to be undone by Kathy Griffins hilarious”...Dick out of your mouth” comment on CNN New Years Eve, the Fox News production team, eager to show an equal amount of stupidity allows an offensive reference to President Elect Barack Obama, “Magic Negro” to quietly scroll across the ticker on the bottom of the screen.
What makes the idiotic blunder so insanely ridiculous is that unless Fox News has technology that automatically posts excerpts from email messages without review…someone at the network actually had to either copy and paste the line into the scroller, or actually type it in.
