It seems like just yesterday we as a nation utter the words “Aw Crap !” in unison.
My how the time has flown and that bitter disappointment that we ll felt in our system of elections…TWICE…. has fondly turned to disbelief… “It’s only been 8 years !?!”

There is no doubt that Democrats, liberals, political analysts (and a whole crap load of Republicans) everywhere will miss the antics of the Bush Administration. Especially late night comedy writers who will now have to start working for a living as the days of gut busting, open source material draw to a close.

Like her politics or not, few can argue that former VP candidate, and current Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin is a political hottie. A fact reinforced in our minds by the hilarious portrayals by the even hotter Tina Fey, on Saturday Night Live this past election season.

Unfortunately, until Palin’s conservative attitude gets as lose as her daughters, we will have to wait for the Playboy centerfold, or Maxim magazine spread, although I suspect Bristol may be a mere 20 pounds and a year or so away from a tasteful layout.

John McCain snuggling up to his B.F.F. George Bush, has to be the photo that sums up the entire 2008 election for me.

Awww, just look at him.  He looks as comfortable as a new born marsupial on his mommy’s tick infested shoulder.

This is obviously chopped.  As far as we know McCain never grabbed a hold of Bush’s jewels in public, though he did verbally tickle them for years, all the way to the end, until someone outside of his campaign finally told him that the “fundamentals of the economy” were not sound, and that people in America were ticked off.  After that startling revelation, McCain and Bush were said to have just text messaged each other quite frequently.
